EDUCATE YOUR STAFF

The first task is to educate your staff to the benefits of Tru-Align technology. Make sure they understand how Tru-Align reduces scatter and radiation to your patients. Their best source of education is our website, www.idixray.com Secondly, they should familiarize themselves with the enclosed patient brochure, which tells your patients to ask questions of your staff. it is important that all on your team understand the concept and benefits of Tru-Align and its relationship to the Green Zone.

THE EMBLEM

The Kit contains the Green Zone emblem which you can affix to your office door or side light. This identifies your place as a safe dental practice. Place it in a conspicuous spot so current and new customers can see it and ask your receptionist about it.

THE COUNTER CARD

If a patient misses the Green Zone emblem at the door, the counter card will call attention to it. If the patient does not ask what the Green Zone is when signing in, the receptionist should point to the counter card or hand her the patient brochure and immediately engage the patient in a brief conversation about this practice's commitment to reduced radiation.

THE PATIENT BROCHURE

The brochure educates your patient about radiation, dental x-rays and your commitment to the ALARA principle as a way of providing the utmost safety for staff and patient. Rather than just leaving the brochure in the holder, it is more effective if the receptionist uses the brochure as a conversation starter. This brochure makes a clear and credible statement about your practice being unique, special and fully dedicated to reduced radiation.

NEW PATIENT REFERRAL CARD

Built into the patient brochure is a new patient referral section, encouraging your patients to recommend your practice to others. They are encouraged to talk about you to family and friends and bring you back a list of referrals on their next visit.

THE POST CARDS

In the Kit are a few copies of a postcard you can mail within your market. Obviously, there is not room for all the information you want to share about your Green Zone practice, but the card highlights the key points, differentiates your practice and invites the reader to call for an appointment. A second postcard is the recall/schedule reminder card. Besides just reminding the patient of an appointment time, this one re- minds the patient of your Green Zone commitment.

Enclosed also is a reorder form for more postcards without the “SAMPLE” text for you to imprint whenever you need them.

SAMPLE LETTER TO POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS

When seeking new customers, some dentists prefer a more formal letter to a postcard. In the Kit, on the CD, is a sample letter that explains the advantages of your Green Zone while it seeks new customers.

SAMPLE E-MAIL TO POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS

We have included a draft of an e-mail blast to your market area. The content is similar to the letter, but this allows you to add an image or two. The draft is found on the Image CD along with several Tru-Align and Green Zone images you can add to your email.

REORDER FORM

This simple form enables you to order more brochures, counter cards, postcards and emblems whenever you need them.

IMAGE CD

Includes image files of the TRU-ALIGN to use on your website or other print materials you might produce.

ADD TO YOUR OWN WEBSITE

There are probably sections in your website that are appropriate for promoting your Green Zone practice and the Tru-Align technology. Add a mention of the Green Zone on your "Contact Us" page. Explain the Tru-Align technology in your "Our Technology" listing.

MENTION THE GREEN ZONE IN YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA

This is not actually a separate item in the Kit, but you can use the content of any of these materials in your social media. Be sure to let your Twitter and Facebook followers know that you are a Green Zone prac- tice, dedicated to their safety and the safety of the environment.

LOOK FOR US ON YOU TUBE

We are planning a short, catchy "Green Zone" video to put on You Tube. It is just one more way we are supporting you and the other Tru-Align dentists. We'll let you know when it is live, so you can inform your patients. They'll enjoy forwarding it to their friends, with a little note that says: "My dentist uses this!"
