Interactive Diagnostic Imaging began its research and development in 1992 and was incorporated in 1997. Interactive Diagnostic Imaging has the goal of identifying, developing and creating dental instruments and technologies that facilitate better diagnoses using intraoral radiographic imaging.
With decades of clinical and senior management experience in various dental companies, the executive team of Interactive Diagnostic Imaging understands that X-rays pose numerous challenges – everything from inaccuracy to costly retakes and the general size of the equipment. With this knowledge, Interactive Diagnostic Imaging is developing new technologies to enable dentists and hygienists to do their jobs easier, faster and better.
Interactive Diagnostic Imaging follows these simple guidelines:
- Enable dentists to better diagnose patient problems
- Make the practice of dentistry easier and safer for the dentist and staff
- Increase the practice’s profitability
- Reduce the costs associated with labor and material
Having established these guidelines, Interactive Diagnostic Imaging’s founders identified tools that could be enhanced by adding unique differentiators. The first product to market, the Tru-Align Positioning System, uses a historically accurate rectangular collimator with an innovative alignment system to ensure accurate X-rays every time.
Interactive Diagnostic Imaging hopes to transform diagnostic imaging at the point of care with products and technologies that enhance healthcare providers’ service quality and profitability.
